Hot Water!?

Some people are more tolerant to hot water, is it because their skin is more tolerance to the temperature or is it because they are use to it. If so then I am going to stick my hands in hot water everyday. Its hard for me to clean dishes because I use cold.

well im not sure. i always put my hands in warm water and shower in warm if i do it in hot well it hurts and i dont like feeling uncomfortable. on the other hand my grandmother washes dishes in pure hot water from the hot water tap only and i touch it and burn myself seriously. so i think its more towards becoming tolerant as you get older.

also my mums friend can cook baked potatoes in the microwave and pull them out with her fingers i think ouch burny burny.

it is also that some people have a low pain threshold so that affects it too.
