What do you think of the Sony Reader PRS 600?

I’m thinking of getting a Sony Reader PRS 600 Touch Edition, it looks fantastic and would make such a difference!
Just wanted to know what you guys think of it; opinions, experiences, pro’s and con’s?
Also i’m completely undecided about the colour.
Red, black or silver?

When talking about Sony Reader, I’ll suggest the Amazon Kindle instead. I’ve mentioned more on this topic here:

Amazon just announced the international version of the Kindle. So it will work even if you are not in the United States.

sony ebook?

I have a Sony eBook, and aside from the fact that it’s kind of crap (ok fair enough it’s a book and the idea is to focus on making the battery last) and I don’t know what Sony were thinking of except that it is a book just a book and nothing else that’s why the battery lasts a good while.

my problem is this when I put a readable file in and I have written its title in lower case the shows up in different case so if I write this “bob’s dog has one leg” In some cases I get this “BOB’S DOG HAS ONE LEG” and sometimes a completely different names entirely.

Why is this and how do I fix it?? Also think the internal memory could be a bigger

If you’re putting RTF files or Word documents, then it’s reading the “properties” section of the file, rather than the document name you see. (Also goes for PDFs, but it’s less common that those have different capitalizations of the names.)

You can open the file in Word, click on the “File” menu, go to “Properties,” and change the formatting of the name (and the author, if you care).

Or you can use Calibre, a free, open source program, to adjust the info about your books & sort them into groups. Calibre’s available at http://calibre.kovidgoyal.net/download

The only solution to the internal memory limitations is to get memory cards, which can hold a lot more.

Where can I purchase a SONY READER in India?

I want to purchase the Sony Reader PRS 505, but I am a little wary of ordering it online. Where can I directly purchase the Reader or are there any other options?

I’ll still suggest you to go for online store like Amazon. It may not be easy to find it available in any local store, for many places… And I’ll say don’t worry to buy online. I often shop online with the credit card, just choose some site that is famous and legistimate. Like Amazon, it is a legistimate seller. where can I find antenna plug adapter for sony car audio?

Ok guys:
I bought a sony Xplod car stereo for my dad overseas. The car audio guy is bugging him for a antenna pin adapter. This is supposedly something that connects the external antenna and the headunit stereo. Does anyone have an idea as to what this might be? The sony site does not have any part listed. Where can I get this?
Any advice would be appreciated.

You will find adapters at most stereo shops. They need to know the make model and year and they should be able to find what you need. Enclosed is the link to Metra, scroll down to antenna adapters. Hope this helps.
